Dealing with multiple charging cables is not fun. I need at least 4 different types of charging cable for my everyday use at work: lightning cable for iPhone, micro-USB cable for Sony MDR-1RBT and Logitech M950T, Pebble Time charging cable and Fitbit One charging cable. At home I use one wall charger for each cable mainly because I spent considerable amount of time in planning my power-boards placement. At work, I simple need one charger that can take care of all my charging needs, and my choice goes to The Coop Idea Jelly 5.1A charging station.

As the name suggests, this charger is able to deliver 5.1A juice, shared through its 4 USB ports. One of the port is marked as iPad while the other 3 are marked as iPhone / iPad. I tested the capability of each port and concluded they are actually the same. So those labels are probably just to guide people.

Thanks to its unique design, I can easily put The Coop Idea Jelly 5.1A charging station on my side-desk and attach 4 charging cables there for easy reach. This product is available in color choices: yellow, pink, green, blue-green and grey. I saw some online stores offer gold version, but my local store did not have it available. Naturally, since I am using this for work, grey is a safe choice.

The colorful part of this product is actually just a silicone case. The actual unit is white and sized about half the height of its case. The bottom part is empty and can be used to hide the cable when not in use.

Nice looking product. Works well so far. No complain. Well, it’s just a charger, so there’s not much to complain really.
